You finally connect an AI chatter to your creator's Telegram. The first message it sends goes to someone the creator has known for three years. Is not a lead. A real paying customer who's now getting a warmup sequence.
A correctly set up Telegram account is fresh and dedicated, registered on a clean phone number, with a complete profile, never shared with personal contacts. That's what the AI chatter sees as its inbox. That's where it can work.
The whole setup takes 20 minutes. Here's the only way to do it right.

You might be thinking: can't I just use my creator's existing personal account? It's already active, the profile looks real, and there are hundreds of contacts on it.
Don't. ChatSan responds to every new inbound DM on the account it's connected to. It doesn't filter by context which means that person messaging at 2am (a business contact, an old client, in short someone the creator actually knows) well ChatSan won't know the difference.

Telegram requires a real phone number to register. That gives you two options.
Option A: Physical SIM (recommended)
A real SIM card ties the account to a real identity. This is the strongest trust signal you can give Telegram's systems. For long-term volume accounts, it's the best choice in my opinion.
Option B: Virtual number
Virtual SIM services work when you need to move fast. Not all countries are equal and numbers from certain regions trigger Telegram's spam detection faster, even on clean new accounts.
Telegram maintains an active blacklist of VoIP and SMS-relay prefixes. You have to note that the platform flags many numbers from popular free SMS services before registration completes.
Avoid numbers from these countries for volume accounts:
Philippines (+63), Bangladesh (+880), Pakistan (+92), Nigeria (+234), Ghana (+233), Kenya (+254), Madagascar (+261), Indonesia (+62), Vietnam (+84), India (+91).
These regions carry higher risk for automation flags. An account registered on one of these numbers already starts at a disadvantage even before you hit send on your first message.
If a physical SIM isn't an option, you can always check out services like OnlineSim or SMSPool, they offer numbers from lower-risk regions. And paid numbers outperform free ones. Providers frequently reuse virtual numbers across registrations, and Telegram blocks many outright.
Download Telegram on mobile or desktop and create a new account using your phone number.
Once the account is live make sure to complete the profile before you connect anything to it:
The more complete the profile, the more Telegram treats it as a legitimate human account. Profile completeness directly affects how much volume the account can handle before restrictions appear.

Two settings to nail before your first conversation:

Writing a thin creator persona. "Fun, adventurous, loves travel" gives the AI chatter nothing to work with. Conversations go short and unconvincing. Write a real character description with specific details that stay consistent.
Sending high volume immediately. New Telegram accounts need a warmup period before they can handle volume. I may cover that more specifically in another post.
You should keep in mind that even a correctly set up account can face temporary restrictions during the first two weeks if message volume spikes too fast. Telegram's anti-spam systems flag unusual activity on new accounts regardless of profile completeness. There's no workaround for this. The warmup period is real and skipping it will cost you an account.
