Plans and how conversations are counted

ChatSan is priced per conversation. You pick a plan for a conversation volume, pay in crypto, and those conversations land in your balance. Bigger plans cost less per conversation. When you run low, you buy more.

Prices are set in the app and can change, so this article doesn't list them. Open Plans at /app/plans to see current prices. Only the organization owner can buy.

The four plans

The tiers are volume levels, and they exist to discount you as you scale: the more conversations a plan includes, the lower the price per conversation. From smallest to largest they're Starter, Pro (the recommended tier), Business, and Enterprise, and higher tiers also unlock additional content controls. Use the slider on the Plans page to set your volume and see the matching price and per-conversation rate for each tier.

What counts as a conversation

A conversation is one chat thread the bot handles for a lead. It counts once, the first time the bot starts that thread, not per message.

  • One lead, one thread, one conversation.
  • The back-and-forth inside that thread doesn't cost extra.
  • When a chatter takes over, no new conversation is counted.

Paying and topping up

You pay in crypto on the Plans page, and the conversations are added to your balance right away. Your balance is a running pool, so unused conversations stay in it. When it runs low, buy more from the same page. See top-ups and limits for how the balance and usage alerts work.

Tip: You can also earn free conversations: invite someone with your link and get 100 when they pay for their first plan. See earn free conversations.
